Shipfix is a fully independent technology firm with advanced research and development beating at the heart of our company.

When the founding team first looked into addressing the challenge of email overload in the maritime and trade industry in 2018, we rapidly realised that the complex content and format of emails exchanged could not be addressed by simply applying "off-the-shelf" machine learning solutions such as Natural Language Processing.

We have therefore spent our first couple of years developing and refining a custom and proprietary deep learning technology which we apply to email parsing and data extraction. We now also apply our proprietary technology to a broader set of data solutions such as vessel movements and commodity flows.

This ongoing development effort, led by a team of leading data scientists and software engineers, is what puts Shipfix ahead of any other service or software provider in the industry.
